Transformed from the old school's original cafeteria (which itself had a surprisingly good menu), the restaurant replaces the traditional lunch–tray offerings with delicious pub fare, handcrafted ales brewed not ten feet away in the onsite brewery, and tempting weekly specials. On those rare yet gorgeous sunny Portland days, diners move outdoors to the flower–filled courtyard where an impressive mosaic–tiled fireplace keeps watch over the festivities.
