Unitus has a heritage of putting people first. It's the very charter we were founded upon over 70 years ago. Our fundamental principle – People Helping People – has never changed. We believe in building a community and establishing strong, lifelong relationships with our members. Part of our mission at Unitus is being a good neighbor, giving back to the communities we serve, both socially and economically. Unitus is a not–for–profit cooperative. We return our retained earnings to our members as higher savings rates, lower loan rates and free or low–cost services. Our Board of Directors sets an example for all of us at Unitus, through their dedication as community volunteers. Our commitment runs from the top down.
